I'm afraid we can't claim to have any hand in this splendour,
and if we did add something to the pot, we've long since forgotten.
We watched the long stalk race for height, four buds develop, then
boom
in all its splendor - to brighten our day

ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful! A few years ago I got two and put them on the mantlepiece, and just as you describe watched the stalk grow until..boom. And then it got so top heavy it toppled over onto the floor. I think it's time to try again, in a bigger pot!
