If you love Ribs like I do- stroll down Long street towards the Baths and make a stop at Down South. It's been our regular eating spot of late, the Prawns are crunchy fresh, the Brisket and mash just like your momma makes it and their Burgers (dare I say this, a better beef patty than the Royale Eatery above). We've yet to try the Southern chicken, Cajun fish and Gumbo, each a special of the day on different days.
Best part, besides their fresh home-style simple meals- the prices! Yummy..
